VINTAGE POSTER

Growing up my favourite place to go as a kid was Waskesiu lake in Prince Albert National Park, Sask.
The challenge was to create a travel poster for a not so well known tourist destination. This style of application suited this magical, green gem perfectly with this towns actual history. My family has been going to this lake retreat annually for over 100 years.

Elk wonder the streets, bikes are the main form of transportation, massive birch trees tower over log style buildings making you feel like you're in a wooded bubble. Spending the day at the lake or venturing on one of the many trails, a historic destination represented in the poster known as
Grey Owl's Trail. And, wouldn't you know I did the trail signs for that very place last year! Very fun project.
